A trust is an arrangement created by an individual prior  to or after their death, in this case, called a will

Trusts include an array of things such as guardianships, custodianships, conservatorships, receiverships, and escrow accounts, among many others. In this arrangement, a trustee takes title to property for the purpose of protecting or conserving it for the beneficiaries under the rules established.
