What's my "staging date"?

Previously Companies were given a "staging date" from the Pensions Regulator when they needed to have enrolled employees and started paying into your chosen pension scheme.

Staging dates are no longer used by the Pension Regulator.  From 1st October 2017 you become an employer and your legal auto enrolment duties will commence on the day that your first employee starts work. This is known as the Duties Start Date.
