If your corporation tax number, otherwise known as a Company UTR is missing or you've newly incorporated it is likely you have a letter from HMRC which contains a 10 digit number usually found on a letter called Notice to deliver a Company Tax Return, an example is below.
It is prefixed with three digit's (for eg. 623) which defines who is your tax office (eg Euston). If you cannot find this letter then you are advised to ring the tax office on the numbers below:
- Within the UK: 0300 200 3410
- Outside UK: +44 151 268 0571
Office opening hours are 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday and the best times to call are between 8am to 9am and 5pm to 6pm when they are less busy.
