What is client authorisation?

We request an online authorisation to act on behalf of your Company on VAT matters. 

You will receive a letter containing a unique authorisation code within 7 to 10 working days from the day of the request. Once you have received it, you send it to us and we authorise it.

Once we are authorised to represent your Company, HMRC will be able to deal with us directly on specific VAT matters. But they’ll carry on sending letters about VAT to your company.
